📖 Instructions
🚀 Quick Start
POGO Cleanup helps you free up Pokemon storage without losing anything good. It gives you search filters to paste into Pokemon GO. You tag what you want to keep, then transfer the rest. Follow the steps in order and you won't accidentally lose a shiny, a hundo, or a great PvP Pokemon.
🏷️ How Tags Work
Tags are labels you stick on Pokemon inside Pokemon GO. If you haven't used them before, here's how:
- Open Pokemon GO and go to your Pokemon list.
- Tap the tag icon (🏷️) at the top of the screen.
- Tap "Create a new tag" and name it exactly:
KEEP_LUCKY - Repeat to create tags named
KEEP_MECH,KEEP_PVP,KEEP_RAID,KEEP_DEX, andKEEP_XP.
Once a Pokemon has a KEEP tag, it won't show up in your transfer pile later. That's how this tool keeps your good Pokemon safe.
📋 The Steps Explained
- KEEP LUCKY — Copy the filter, paste it in your search bar. It finds your shinies, luckies, legendaries, hundos, and other rare Pokemon. Tag all of them
KEEP_LUCKYso they're protected. - KEEP MECH — Finds Pokemon you've powered up with Mega Energy, Dynamax, or other special resources. Tag them
KEEP_MECHso you don't lose that investment. - KEEP PVP — Finds Pokemon from top PvP families that have good stats for battling. There are separate filters for Great League, Ultra League, and Master League. Tag them all
KEEP_PVP. - KEEP RAID — Finds your best raid attackers for each type. Tag them
KEEP_RAID. - KEEP DEX — Finds Pokemon you can evolve for new Pokedex entries. Tag them
KEEP_DEX, then evolve the full chain (for example, Pidgey → Pidgeotto → Pidgeot). - EVOLVE DEX — Evolve each tagged Pokemon through its complete chain. Search
evolvenewagain after evolving — new entries may appear. Clear theKEEP_DEXtag when done. - KEEP XP — Finds cheap-to-evolve Pokemon for XP grinding (like Pidgey or Caterpie). Tag them
KEEP_XP. Only use this for families where your Pokedex is already complete. - EVOLVE XP — Pop a Lucky Egg, then mass-evolve everything tagged
KEEP_XP. Clear the tag when done. - REVIEW — See everything that's NOT tagged. This is your last chance to save anything before you transfer.
- TRANSFER — Transfer what's left. Only untagged Pokemon show up here, so your tagged keepers are safe.
🎮 What Are Presets?
Presets change the settings to match how you play. Pick one and the filters adjust automatically:
- Casual — Keeps it simple. Only protects the very best PvP and raid Pokemon.
- PvP Focused — Saves more PvP Pokemon across all leagues with strict IV filters.
- Raid Focused — Saves more raid attackers with strict IV filters.
- Collector — Keeps costumes, nundos, shadows, and more. For living-dex builders.
- Hardcore — Everything turned on. Saves the most Pokemon for competitive play.
You can also pick "Custom" and change each setting by hand.
⚙️ What Can You Configure?
- PvP Settings — Choose which PvP families to protect and how strict the IV filter should be for each league.
- Raid Settings — Choose which raid attacker families to protect and what quality level they need.
- XP Evolve — Turn XP evolving on or off, and choose whether to include 25-candy species.
- Mechanic Protection — Keep Pokemon you've invested Mega Energy, Dynamax, Gigantamax, or Fusion materials into.
- Protection Toggles — Extra safety nets like protecting buddies, favorites, costumes, and nundos (0/0/0 IV Pokemon that collectors love).
⚠️ Legacy Move Warning
Before transferring, search @special in-game to check for Pokemon with legacy or event-exclusive moves. These cannot be re-learned and may have significant trade or PvP value.
